Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Our Wedding

Jeremy and I were married on December 13, 2008 in Nazareth Chapel at Northwestern College. We met at Northwestern during our freshman year and became great friends! Junior year is when we started dating and Jeremy asked me to marry him in April of our senior year. The proposal took place at the exact place that we first met. The basketball court of NWC. Jeremy led me on a little trail starting at his car in the parking lot, leading me with notes to the next place. Finally I reached an upstairs classroom where Jeremy had put together a slideshow of our memories together. The end of the slideshow led me to the track overlooking the gym and at center court in candles it said "Marry Me?" and he got down on one knee and told me he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I will never forget that night! I am so thankful that I got to marry my very best friend :) He is such a blessing.
